SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man has died following a fight outside a Scottsdale bar earlier this month, and police are investigating the case as a homicide.

It happened around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, outside Pattie’s First Avenue Lounge, on 1st Avenue near Scottsdale Road . According to Scottsdale police, Pizzitola was with a small group of friends when an argument began with another group of people in front of the bar.

Police say the argument escalated into a physical fight and that Pizzitola was hurt. He later died from those injuries.

So far, no one has been arrested. Other details have not yet been released, but Scottsdale PD released the following statement on Tuesday morning:
