ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - Abby Eisenberger with the Rock Island County Animal Care and Control Shelter introduces Raven.

Raven is about 3-months-old and is very calm for a puppy.

Eisenberger said Raven still has lots of growth to do but due to her mellow temperament she’s perfect for any home.

Raven has other siblings at the shelter as well.

Inventory

Eisenberger said the shelter’s inventory is full and sitting well over 500.

Due to the full inventory, Eisenberger said the regular kennels are full and staff are having to use crates to house dogs.

Volunteer Opportunities

The shelter said volunteers are an integral part to the shelter’s success.

Volunteers do need to undergo a training process listed on the humane society’s website .
