JACKSON/ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Kentucky State Police say an Estill County Grand Jury has indicted a man in connection with the murder of James D. Carmack.

According to KSP, James S. Bergman, 24, of Irvine, was indicted on charges of murder, tampering with physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse.
Bergman was first arrested in August and remains lodged in the Three Forks Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
