The California DMV announced Tuesday that the San Pedro office will be temporarily closed beginning Oct. 28 for termite fumigation.

The San Pedro office, located at 1511 N. Gaffey St., will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. on Oct. 28. The office is scheduled to reopen on Nov. 3 at 8 a.m.

Customers can visit the following area offices during the closure: • Torrance DMV: 1785 W. 220th St. • Long Beach DMV: 3700 E. Willow St. • Compton DMV: 2111 S. Santa Fe Ave.

The DMV is also reminding drivers that most services, such as vehicle registration renewals, can be done online.

Customers can also use the Service Advisor on the DMV website to learn about options to complete DMV tasks.
