SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - Amidst widespread political divide, the city of Sulphur united for something greater than politics - a shared hope and reminder that community can still bring people together in times of division.

Monday night at the West Cal Arena, a prayer rally was hosted by Roger Boyette, President of Recon Management Services. The event brought the community together for prayer concerning the state, the nation, and its citizens.

“We have the answer, the answer is through our prayers, but also we have to understand that we have to take action and we have to be vocal each one of us has a story about how we’ve come to know Jesus as Lord and savior. We need to be able to share that with our community, our friends and neighbors, everyone,” Boyette said.
