MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A woman was arrested Tuesday by the Memphis Safe Task Force after allegedly hitting a victim with a car last year, according to the United States Marshals Service.

Anquanette Burnside, 24, was charged with criminal attempted first-degree murder. Agents say she was originally arrested in January after an incident on Dec. 31, 2024, where Burnside allegedly struck a female victim with a car.

Reports said she was released on bond in March, and she was later indicted in connection with the case. A warrant was issued for her arrest on Sept. 26.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
