IT: Welcome to Derry is reviving Pennywise for a cycle of terrifying scares in 1962. We cannot say we are shocked to see this series, considering the success of Andy and Barbara Muschietti’s IT films in recent-ish years. But, apparently, there was more story to tell about this entity who strums up fear. We caught up with the creative duo to talk about heading to the 1960s and why a three-season storytelling model for I T: Welcome to Derry feels right, even in a world where shows get cancelled prematurely.
