CHAPEL HILL — UNC football coach Bill Belichick is refuting a report that Virginia quarterback Chandler Morris displayed an “extreme” interest in transferring to the Tar Heels ahead of the 2025 season.
A report from The Athletic stated general manager Michael Lombardi decided to pass on Morris, who previously played at North Texas, due to concerns about the QB’s size and arm strength.
“I don’t really know what the source on that was,” Belichick said Oct. 21 during his weekly press conference inside the Kenan Football Center.
“We didn’t have any contact with Chandler Morris. We spoke to his agent. I don’t really know where that, what the source of that was. His agent didn’t know anything about it. We didn’t know anything about it. Just making up stories. I don’t know where it came
