A Connecticut man has been charged with murder after police found him lying on top of his unresponsive girlfriend , both of them "covered in blood."
Stanley Mulvey, 67, was the one who called dispatchers on Monday to report that he "just stabbed his girlfriend" and "now wanted to kill himself." According to a press release from the Stratford Police Department, officers arrived at the apartment that Mulvey shared with his girlfriend, 62-year-old Megan McShane, after receiving word of the call made at around 7 p.m. that evening. When they entered the home, they found Mulvey "lying atop" McShane, who was unresponsive.
