Former All-Pro quarterback and Super Bowl champion Drew Brees criticized the Eagles’ offense’s performance through seven games on Tuesday’s episode of ESPN’s ‘First Take,’ despite the team’s winning record.
Brees voiced concerns about the Eagles’ offense, saying that the team may be winning, but the unit is still flawed.
“I’ll be honest, I’m shocked that they’re 5-2 based on how they’ve played,” Brees said. “They are a middle-of-the-pack offense and they’re a middle-of-the-pack defense right now. Shockingly, statistically they are the 30th-ranked rushing offense in the league.
