BOSTON —

Boston police are searching for Tyronne Burris, who allegedly stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of designer sunglasses within the last month across several Massachusetts stores.

The 49-year-old Burris is described as a bald, 6-foot-tall, 190-pound Black man with brown eyes. Investigators say his last known location was in the area of 780 Albany St.

According to police, he is wanted on five warrants out of Boston Municipal Court for charges that include larceny over $1,200 and receiving stolen property, along with being a "common and notorious thief."

On Oct. 19, Burris allegedly stole 30 sunglasses from a Sunglass Hut on Boylston Street, valued at approximately $30,000.
