It’s never a bad thing for a golfer to have their name spoken in the same breath as Arnold Palmer.
Carson Kittsley is about to find that out.
Kittsley capped off a brilliant 6-under 66 round and avoided a playoff when he snaked home a birdie putt on the final hole to give him a one-shot victory over Latrobe senior Jack Sacriponte in the final round of the PIAA Class 3A boys golf championship. The Fox Chapel junior finished the two-day event with an 8-under 136, with Sacriponte at 7-under 137.
