A Hammond woman was killed Tuesday when her car clipped a semi and spun out on the Borman Expressway.

Demilade Adeyeye, 21, died from multiple blunt force trauma injuries, according to a release from the Lake County Coroner’s Office.

Around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Indiana State Police were dispatched to the scene of a multiple vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of I-80/94 — 1.4 miles east of the Cline Avenue exit, according to an ISP news release

Preliminary investigation showed that Adeyeye was driving a white sedan and in the process of changing lanes in front of a semi when the rear left side of her car made contact with the semi.
