LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) - Equal Steps Veterans Home operated in Long Beach for a year without a business license, according to city documents WLOX News obtained through a public records request.

The documents from Long Beach show a business license was issued in April 2021, which expired in October of last year. The name on the license is Nekole Predium.

Predium is the woman who ran the home until Friday, when she was arrested under the name Velma Nekole Predium-Morris on a felony bad check charge out of Slidell, Louisiana.
