SALT LAKE CITY — Further details have been released in connection with a shooting in Ogden that killed a teenager.

Police initially responded to the incident Saturday night, where they found one teenager had been shot and killed at an Ogden residence.

A probable cause statement identifies the suspect as 16-year-old Hezekiah Plummer.

Plummer is facing five charges, including murder, obstruction of justice, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of a dangerous weapon by a minor.

According to the statement, a man living at the residence where the incident took place said he was woken up by gunshots that same night. He told police he was asleep upstairs when he was woken up by the shots. At first, he thought they were “distant,” but then realized they
