OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha police have given an update regarding a shootout between officers and a suspect on Thursday.
The department’s Officer Involved Investigations Team has interviewed the two officers involved, now identified as Officers Jamelle Ross and Andrew Wulf, who have nine and five years of service with the department, respectively.
Police responded to the area of 152nd and Spencer Streets Thursday around 1:50 a.m. for a report of someone trying to break into a home.
“Various aspects of the incident were captured on either officers’ body-worn cameras, cruiser dash cameras, and/or the OPD helicopter cameras.
