OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — A West Jordan man was arrested and charged with trafficking 2,000 fentanyl pills into Ogden.

Yerlin Abraham Valle-Gomez, 24, has been charged with one count of trafficking of fentanyl, a first-degree felony.

According to charging documents, agents with the Weber Morgan Narcotics Strike Force learned of a person bringing large amounts of fentanyl pills into the Ogden area. They conducted surveillance after getting information about the specific vehicle being used.

Agents conducted a traffic stop, and the driver was identified as Valle-Gomez. In the vehicle, agents found a large number of blue pills that were marked "M30." The pills were
