HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- We will soon know who is replacing Evansville City Council member Missy Mosby.

According to the Vanderburgh County Democratic Party, it is holding a caucus next week to elect a counselor for the 2nd Ward. Mosby recently vacated the position after being appointed to serve as the city's animal control director.

The caucus is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on October 29 at the Vanderburgh County Democratic Party Headquarters on Northwest Fourth Street.
