The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Saturday, Oct. 18, that certain heat-and-serve frozen breakfast burritos produced by the California company MCI Foods, Inc. and sold under multiple brand names contain eggs that could be contaminated with listeria.

Some of the affected burritos and wraps were packaged individually and sold under the brands Los Cabos, El Mas Fino and Midamar. Others were distributed in bulk, including through the Department of Agriculture’s school lunch and breakfast programs. Copy article link
