The ever-glamorous, longtime "Wheel of Fortune" co-host Vanna White took a wild fashion detour on the syndicated game show.
After four decades of designer gowns, White, 68, entered the Oct. 21 show wearing just "Wheel of Fortune" pajamas. The nightwear ensemble was, of course, bedazzled with purple faux fur cuff trims.
Ryan Seacrest, who took over hosting duties a year ago from legendary host Pat Sajak, wore a similar set, but styled under a jacket sans the visible purple faux fur.
"What's going on?" Seacrest asked incredulously. "This is a first," White chirped. "I've never worn pajamas, and I've always wanted to. And here we are."
When Seacrest complimented White's sparkly attire, she responded, "Well, sequins are my life."
Then White walked off on her heels to the letterboard for the letter-turning job. Wearing pajamas to "The Great Outdoors" night wasn't great planning, but she's a gamer.
The dynamic duo has been working cutely on both "Wheel of Fortune" and "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune," the Friday night star-edition, which Seacrest took over this year as well.
The hosts have had their share of "Wheel of Fortune" excitement, with the show's biggest-ever winner last month. On "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune," Seacrest had to make a new rule to keep "Dancing With the Stars" judge Derek Hough from standing on the famed 2,400 wheel.
If you missed the pajamas escapade, the episode will stream starting Wednesday, Oct. 22, on Peacock and Hulu.
