DALLAS — Susan Delarios had an idea. And the first reaction to that idea apparently did not go all that well.
"Well, I did talk to the executive director and almost caused a heart attack. But besides that...," she said with a smile.
The idea, as a resident of the retirement community Presbyterian Village North , came after she and a few other residents watched a movie, the 2003 film Calendar Girls, where a group of British women, of a certain age, decide to raise money for charity in the best way they knew possible: posing semi-nude for their very own calendar.
"Whose fault is this?" I asked when Delarios and six other female PVN residents agreed to sit down for an interview.
"Mine," Susan said as all the others laughed and pointed at her.
"And then later I thought. Well, why not?
