OGDEN — An immigrant from Peru has been charged with kidnapping and having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

Mexwill Damian Damian, 22, is charged in 2nd District Court with aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony, and unlawful sexual activity charge, a third-degree felony.

Damian issued a warrant for his arrest on Oct. 17. He's an immigrant from Peru who's in the country illegally and has been living in Ogden, according to the police booking affidavit.

The girl's father, who played soccer with Damian, found "concerning messages" on Instagram between Damian and his daughter.
