MARION, Ill. (KFVS) - In Williamson County, a first-of-its-kind attraction in southern Illinois is getting ready to open, and it is bringing hundreds of new jobs with it.

According to management, the new Thrillhouse Family Entertainment Center is set to open on December 1, 2026.

They are looking to fill up to 200 positions and get those folks trained before the big day.

David Stoner has been looking for a job for nearly six months.

“It’s been pretty difficult, because most of the time you have to apply online and you just don’t hear back,” he said.

Stoner said being able to meet and be interviewed on the spot is an opportunity he could not pass up.

“It’s nice to finally be able to sit down in a room with the hiring team,” he said.
