KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - As the son and younger brother of college and professional football players, Tyreek Copper has been training to follow in their footsteps his entire life, but after 49 touchdowns in four years at Kinston, he’s made his own name for himself.

Born at the tail end of his father Terrance’s NFL career, Tyreek does not remember that era, but has trained with his dad 24/7 growing up.

Then, when it comes to competitive drive, he has his older brother, Terrance Jr., to thank for that, who went on to play at ECU and never let Tyreek win anything as a kid.

Now, as a Senior on Kinston, Copper’s coach, Ryan Gieselman, considers him ‘the voice of the team,’ where he leads off and on the field, producing 1,201 yards receiving in just eight games so far in 2025.
