Second-seeded Highland Park defeated seventh-seeded Iselin Kennedy in the quarterfinal round of the Greater Middlesex Conference Invitational, powered by a strong second half in Highland Park.
Following a 1-1 tie at halftime, Highland Park scored three unanswered goals in the second half to clinch the victory.
Highland Park’s goals were scored by Ryan Wong, Justin Ramos, Jerson Auxuma and Avyu Arvind. Keanu Mack finished with five saves.
Highland Park controlled the match, outshooting Iselin Kennedy 13-6.
Highland Park (8-6) will host third-seeded Middlesex in the semifinal round on Thursday at a time to be announced. Iselin Kennedy fell to 8-10-1 on the season.
