Sidney Crosby has added another milestone to his remarkable career.

The career Pittsburgh Penguin passed Mario Lemieux for the franchise’s all-time lead in combined regular season and playoff points with a second-period goal against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday.

Crosby corralled the puck off a face-off, drifted into the slot and fired the puck past Canucks goaltender Kevin Lankinen.

The 38-year-old now has 1,896 career points, including the Stanley Cup Playoffs. His long-time teammate Evgeni Malkin ranks third with 1,535.
