OTTAWA — Jake Walman’s power-play goal at 2:24 of overtime allowed the Edmonton Oilers to snap a three-game losing skid with a 3-2 decision against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night.

The Oilers (3-3-1) wrapped up their five-game road trip (2-3-0) and handed the Senators their second consecutive loss on home ice.

Walman was making his season debut after missing the Oilers first six games with an undisclosed injury.

The Senators (2-4-0) scored twice in a span of 1:25 to tie the game 2-2 early in the third, but were unable to complete the comeback.

Ottawa was able to get on the board after winning a puck battle along the boards. Drake Batherson dished a pass to Dylan Cozens who ripped a power-play shot past Stuart Skinner, who made 19 saves.
