ALEXANDRIA, Ky. —

Paul McKee, an assistant football coach in Northern Kentucky, is celebrating his 50th season on the sidelines, continuing to impart wisdom and passion to the Campbell County Camels.

McKee's journey began in eighth grade when he decided he wanted to coach football, a dream he has pursued ever since. Advertisement

"I'm one of the very fortunate people in the 8th grade I knew what I wanted to do in life. I wanted to coach football," McKee said.

His career started as a defensive back at Eastern Kentucky, and since graduating, McKee has coached at nearly every high school in Northern Kentucky, taking on roles from freshman to JV to varsity, always willing to do whatever was needed.
