A portion of I-24 near the 29 mile marker in both lanes was shut down for a period Tuesday evening.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1 office said eastbound lanes have reopened, however the westbound lanes remain blocked and traffic will be exited at Exit 31/Grand Rivers as clean up continues. No further information on the accident has been made available.
