GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Improvements are coming for the Rotary Sportsplex in Ocala.

Marion County officials say they’re partnering with leaders at Advent Health to move forward with the project.

County officials say Advent Health is investing $1 million into the sportsplex. Two soccer fields are being converted from natural grass to synthetic turf.

The project also includes upgrades to the bleachers and the parking lot.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held in March.
