ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - After police raced to arrest a man who allegedly planned a mass shooting at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday, more is coming to light about the suspect.

Who is the suspect accused of threatening to ‘shoot up’ Atlanta airport?

Police identified the suspect as 49-year-old Billy Joe Cagle from Cartersville. He faces charges of terroristic threats, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Cagle is scheduled to have his first appearance before a judge on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
