TROY – It’s hard to argue against the fact that Troy was simply clinical Tuesday night.

The seventh-ranked Colts scored on their first four shots on goal and went on to oust New Baltimore Anchor Bay 5-1 Tuesday in a Division 1 regional semifinals match at Troy Athens.

“We came out a little slow for about 10 minutes or so, then we really caught fire,” smiled Troy coach Adam Spinks, whose team has played at another level in recent weeks. “I think it’s just a matter of us creating and finishing more chances.”

Troy (13-3-1) has now outscored its opposition 69-12 this season – including 28-1 in four postseason games, as the Colts are starting to pick up steam after finishing third in a loaded Oakland Activities Association Red Division.
