A new image shows what new Coventry 400 bed student accommodation could look like. CoventryLive reported that plans had been submitted for a Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) of up to 400 bed spaces on on land close to the University of Warwick's core campus, to the south of Westwood Heath Road.

Due to the size of the proposed accommodation, it is classified as a major development. It would mean the demolition of existing buildings on the land.

As the application asks for outline planning permission, full further details would follow in reserved matters applications but it is known that access would be via Westwood Heath Road.
