TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Rashaun Woods has been the head coach of the Tyler Lions football team since 2023.

In that time he has watched his daughter become a volleyball star, but not at Tyler High; instead, at cross town rival Tyler Legacy.

“It’s cool how our lives are different, we are doing two different interview for two different schools. It’s super cool seeing him on the field, knowing that he is supporting another side of the town,” said Taylor Woods, a Tyler Legacy senior.

Despite a busy schedule for Coach Woods, “My day starts at 5 am every day and typically doesn’t end until 8 o clock,” said Rashaun Woods, the Tyler High football coach and Taylor’s dad.
