The Auburn Tigers suffered a 23-17 double-overtime loss to the Missouri Tigers on Saturday, marking the team's fourth consecutive loss.

With a 3-4 record to open the 2025 college football season, pressure continues to build for Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze.

Freeze took over as Auburn's head coach before the 2023 season. Since then, he's notched a 14-18 overall record and an abysmal 1-12 record against ranked opponents.

The former Ole Miss/Liberty head coach failed to achieve a winning record in each of his first two seasons with Auburn, going 6-7 and 5-7.

There are many who believe Freeze's tenure with the Tigers could be coming to an end, including ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum.
