A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against the City of Buffalo and its water system manager that alleged they misled the public after the city stopped adding fluoride to its water in June 2015.

Seeking dismissal of a lawsuit, lawyers for Buffalo said annual water quality reports plainly disclosed the city had temporarily stopped adding fluoride to drinking water. But those suing said that wasn't the "dominant impression" created by the city.
