Hyderabad, Oct 22 (UNI) The Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency witnessed an unprecedented rush of candidates on the final day of nominations for the upcoming by-election scheduled for November 11.

A total of 211 candidates filed 321 nominations, reflecting one of the highest numbers in recent electoral history.

On the last day alone, 117 candidates submitted 194 nomination papers, while between October 13 and 18, 94 candidates filed 127 papers. Officials said the nomination process continued until the early hours of Wednesday.

The diverse list of candidates includes representatives from major political parties, independents, farmers affected by the Regional Ring Road (RRR) project, and leaders from various unemployment associations.
