In connection with the murder of senior advocate and BJP leader Pitabas Panda, Berhampur police Wednesday arrested former MLA and Ganjam district BJD President Bikram Panda.

Sources informed that three more individuals have also been taken into custody in relation to the case.

A police team, led by Berhampur SP Saravana Vivek M, visited Panda’s residence late Tuesday night and brought him in for questioning. Later Wednesday, he was arrested and produced before the Berhampur court.
