For many high school football teams in the state of Michigan , Week 9 is the end of the road.

But for several others, it might just be the beginning .

For the Inland Lakes Bulldogs, who will likely be hosting a playoff game next week, they’ll have a chance to wrap up a special regular season before hunting for a state title in the postseason.

As for the Cheboygan Chiefs, Onaway Cardinals and Pellston Hornets – all playoff longshots – they’re just hoping their final games end with success.
