MONROEVILLE, Pa. —
Multiple gunshots prompted a heavy police presence at a Monroeville apartment complex late Tuesday night.

According to Monroeville Police Chief Doug Cole, multiple vehicles and apartment building 651 had been hit.
Chief Cole said two people did show up to UPMC East hospital believing they had been shot, but they were not injured. He said they were in their car when it was shot at, so they had gone to the hospital to get checked out.
Our Pittsburgh's Action News 4 cameras captured police as they searched around a number of different units at the complex overnight.
As the investigation continues, it is still unclear how many people fired shots.
