Lily Allen got breast implants after deciding she wanted her body to look more "in proportion" after losing weight.
In an interview for Perfect magazine published on Tuesday, the singer-actress joked that she decided to get a boob job recently because she simply "felt like it".
Lily then went on to explain that she decided to undergo surgery to encourage her to gain more weight.
"No, actually, you know what it was? It was that I got really, really thin when I was feeling at my lowest, in the past year or so. Or longer, actually. And I knew that I had to gain weight," she stated. "And I've always been bottom-heavy and so I had a fear that if I was to gain weight, my body would feel out of proportion. And so, I felt like, why not gift myself a get-out clause? Make it feel more enticing."
Lily insisted she also has a "bit bigger bum" now.
"Yeah. It's all worked out fine!" the 40-year-old exclaimed.
Elsewhere in the chat, Lily opened up about how she wrote and recorded her upcoming album, West End Girl, in just 10 days.
The No Shame star indicated a lot of the material draws upon her split from husband David Harbour in late 2024.
"I mean, it was hard to make this record. It was incredibly manic, and it was emotionally traumatic. But nothing felt forced," the mother-of-two continued. "It just sort of fell out of me. And I think that's what happens when you're writing from a place of truth, and without an agenda. I think when I struggle with writing it's because I'm worried about how things are going to be perceived or how things are going to be consumed, or where I exist in the market, or whatever. This record was purely for me, and it was a way of processing things that I was going through in my private life."
West End Girl is set to be released on Friday.
