Oscar-winning documentarian Laura Poitras turns her lens on legendary investigative reporter Seymour Hersh in “Cover-Up,” premiering at AFI Fest before its Dec. 26 Netflix launch.

The film revisits Hersh’s six-decade career exposing government wrongdoing, from My Lai and Watergate to Abu Ghraib, while probing the toll and convictions behind his work.

Now 88 and still reporting, Hersh reflects on the state of journalism amid renewed political attacks on the press.
