Drug Take-Back Day
County-wide local law enforcement agencies, including the Sequim Police Department, will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day sponsored by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, individuals can drop off expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction at the Sequim Police Department, located at 152 W. Cedar Street.
Individuals may also drop off vaping pens without the internal batteries for destruction.
Staff and volunteers will be on location to accept the items.
Drugs can also be dropped off during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The service is free and anonymous, with no questions asked.
