COLUMBUS, Ohio — There’s an unsuspecting nature to Ohio State’s Austin Siereveld .
He considers himself a, “quiet guy” who grew up on Lego and video games. He was competitive, yet never truly fought with his twin brother, Aiden. When he made his first collegiate start in last year’s opener vs. Akron, he told his family the afternoon before — a casual news dump which almost gave his parents a, “heart attack.”
Even his outlook on football is matter-of-fact at times. He’s shrugged at the idea of transitioning between positions being tough, saying he could learn how to play center in, “a day” if needed.
But there’s little about Siereveld’s game that’s quiet.
