John Jay-East Fishkill will be a No. 2 seed in the Section 1 Class AAA girls soccer tournament, which gets underway on Friday. Looming for the Patriots could be a semifinal showdown with local rival Arlington, the No. 3 seed.

Roy C. Ketcham is a No. 8 seed and will host Ossining in a first-round match on Friday, with that winner taking on No. 1 seed North Rockland in a Oct. 28 quarterfinal.

In Class C, No. 4 seed Haldane will meet No. 1 Tuckahoe in an Oct. 30 semifinal, with Leffell School and North Salem on the other side of the bracket. That final is Nov. 2 at Nyack.

Though times have not been officially set, the start times for weekday playoff games is suggested for 5 p.m. and the weekend times for 11 a.m.
