He is a hero in Toronto and throughout Canada for his ALCS heroics and George Springer may retain that status for as long as there is Blue Jays baseball.

In Los Angeles? Not so much.

In fact, as much vile hatred as Seattle fans spewed Springer’s way in Games 3 through 5 at T-Mobile Park – including cheering when he left Game 5 due to a knee injury – there is no love lost for the Jays leadoff man in Los Angeles.

Springer, of course, had probably the greatest moments of his career against the Dodgers, banging five home runs in the 2017 World Series, a performance that had him named MVP for the Fall Classic.
