EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Crews are on scene of an active house fire in Evansville.

Dispatch says the initial call came in at 5 a.m. Wednesday morning for a home in the 1300 block of Oakley Street.

The Evansville Fire Department is on scene.

Dispatch says Evansville Police are also on scene helping with traffic control in the area of Louisiana and Oakley Street.
