TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Police Department has released more information on the person killed after being shot in a downtown parking garage over the weekend.
The shooting happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 19, at the 600 block of Wabash Avenue, according to police.
According to a press release, police located Skyleen M. Ross, 23, of Terre Haute near the entrance of the parking garage. Ross had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
A male inside the parking garage, whom police believed to be the shooter, was taken into custody.
Police believe the shooter to be Javon T. Wilson, 23 of Terre Haute. Wilson also allegedly had suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand.
