CRESTWOOD, Ky. (WAVE) - Actor Conrad Bachmann is turning 93 this November.
He grew up on a farm in Valley Station and went to Valley Station High School and the University of Kentucky before Hollywood called.
He says luck always seemed to just happen for him.
Bachmann is used to being in front of the camera. He lived in front of it. He has also died in front of the camera many times too.
Like the unforgettable scene in the 1990 movie Tremors with Kevin Bacon, when he’s sucked underground by the flesh-eating worm-like monsters.
“It was one take and that was it,” Bachmann said. “You’re looking at the take.”
It was the musical Good News he saw with his mom as a child that ignited his passion.
