A 20-year-old woman was critically wounded during an argument Tuesday night in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a call of a walk-in person shot at Humboldt Park Health. The victim had been involved in an argument when a known female pulled out a firearm and opened fire in the victim’s direction before fleeing the scene, police said.
The victim was struck to the right side of the face, and got herself to the hospital where she was listed in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
